Have you heard about the brand new YI Award to be presented in April 2015 for the first time at The International Liver Congress™?
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of EASL, the Young Investigator Concerted Action Group (YI-CAG) is proud to introduce a new yearly award specifically dedicated for young fellows.
The EASL Governing Board and YI-CAG will select YI Awardees based on their international liver research achievements to-date.
Awardees will be acknowledged during General Session 3 at The International Liver Congress™ in Vienna in front of thousands of liver experts. They will be invited to give a 10 min presentation on their research during the YI Forum on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
Additionally, awardees will receive a cash prize to be handed out in Vienna. For this reason, in order to qualify, awardees must guarantee to be present in Vienna, Austria on this day.
Awardees will also be invited to publish a review in the Journal of Hepatology, provided that:
- The Awardee (or their mentor) has not published a similar review recently
- There is no similar review in production in the Journal of Hepatology
- The article stands up to peer review.
Note: a minimum of 3 original articles in a journal with an impact factor of 6 or more is required as either first or last author.
Application for the Young Investigator Award is exclusively open to active EASL members, both clinicians and basic scientists. Please check the application platform for specific publication and age requirement.
Selection of YI Awardees will be made by the end of March.
